Re #7685: No, I did not use that. I tried put and submit with various versions of file and 'ask. It seems, that 'ask works, but generates a error message after.sqlab

Re #7684: I know there are some flaws with my submission. I did not understand how the input buffer gets filled, so I checked the final input line. That should work with any readline.

I have a new version with a few bugs less, but I guess your version is better.

Re #7682: Sqlab: did you try typing just: submit That should work, at least here it does, but not tested it on other systems.Carl

Re #7672: Sqlab: I looked at your input line code that you submitted to host-main.c, and I think it should be added as a separate .c file, not as part of host-main.

And... various users will want it to work with Linux, etc., which use the read-line code that I wrote earlier to handle line editing in a simple way (or whatever substitute might become available that runs on all other OSes.)

Also... I've got some C code here from R2 for it's method of doing similar input handling, I just need to publish it to the site.

Anyway, thanks for the submission... and something like this is useful to all programmers.

Re #7670: Please include the trivial fix to make-host-ext.r as shown in http://github.com/earl/r3-hostkit/commit/15cfb839 (to make make-host-ext.r work properly on Linux). I can also report this as bug in CureCode, if it helps.Andreas

Re #7669: I just tried to log in to edit R3 wiki docs, but got this (after using the info from 6921, then my rebdev login):

REBOL 3 Unknown WIP Wiki Command

The feature may not be implemented or an invalid URL was used.

Command was: logon
