Datatypes in Transition

From DocBase

These datatypes are in transition, meaning that they are not yet fully implemented in the Alpha release of R3.

closure
This currently has a 'self capture bug, but otherwise works.
error
Has been changed to be passive (disarmed by default). This will lead to a few new situations to address in evaluation.
frame
handle
map
Mostly functional. This is the replacement for HASH! and works differently. Maps are no longer a series type, they are more like objects. Maps do not have position like series. Some of the actions that work on series also work on maps. Any bugs should be reported.
module
object
Many details about the specification block still pending. This also relates to all other object-based types: such as module, task, etc. In addition, the action of SELF is not yet online - it is different in a major way.
percent
Partial implementation. Mainly missing are the various type conversions for mixed datatype expressions. Also, we need a "precision" field for FORMing these.
port
Mostly works. Not backwards-compatible with R2. Any bugs should be reported.
rebcode
On hold for a total rethink. Backwards compatibility is unlikely.
routine
You can't make these yet.
struct
You can't make these yet.
task
unicode
Partial implementation. Works well internally but most of the conversion functions are still missing and there is no GUI support yet.
utype
You can't make these yet.
vector
Partial implementation. Do not try to use it yet. Some parts may work, but many will not.
