Comments on: Plugins: a quick update
Just a quick update: work is being done on plugins in order to accomplish that part of this month's goals. I am happy to say plugins are running, and you can create your own "native functions" that run at very close to the speed of normal natives (within 5%).
Of course, documentation is required for you to use plugins, and that's what must be written now. Fortunately, we've worked to keep plugins very small and smart, so it won't take more than a couple page of docs for you to build your own plugins.

yay !!!
just went over the plugin docs... noticed there is no object! support... any idea if this will be included in a short time-frame, or should we expect a few months before we can refer to object internals? |
